I got this unit for my grandson and was happy to watch him install it. He does have it attached to an equalizer and if I liked his music I could tell you if it sounded good. Actually it sounds fine and the screen is really clear - like a nice tablet. What I like best is the safety factor since he now has Android Auto and doesn't need to look down at his phone to get navigation.

Let's face it, if you take care of your Honda Accord it will take care of you and last almost forever. One of the issues you will encounter however, is that the in-car technology will definitely show its age and that was the case with my daughter's 2005 Honda Accord. When it was released an AM/FM CD stereo was an upgrade from a tape deck but in card GPS was just a dream. My daughter had been using an FM converter to play her Spotify music over her radio and that also worked with the audio instructions from her Google Maps but she still had to look at her tiny phone screen to see any of the visual navigation prompts. I was hoping that this upgraded stereo would resolve all of those issues and I'm happy to say that it has done that.Installation was pretty straightforward . I did notice that the clips required to hold the radio in place were not included in the box so you will need to be sure to save the ones off of the original stereo to use when installing this replacement unit. All of the correct connectors are included and the radio is pretty much plug and play . The stereo appears to run on what is basically an Android tablet. It is pretty responsive and the touch screen works well. When you connect to Carplay, essentially all of the computing is being done on your phone and the in dash screen is just a display so you don't have to worry about the computing power of the stereo. So far my daughter loves it as the screen is big and bright and even without replacing the factory speakers the system sounds significantly better due to the built in equalizer that allows you to adjust the sound settings to your taste. Most importantly to me I feel like she can now be a safer driver and not need to look at her phone when trying to navigate.
