We’ve been keeping our favorite Zinfandel in this decanter for quite some time, mainly because we absolutely love the deep rich color of the wine and, we drink it often enough that it’s nice to have it quickly available to pour from such a beautifully shaped decanter that is plenty thick and strong to be handled over and over again.We have tried adding some smoke flavor a few times and were pleasantly surprised that apple and cherry wood each created a very nice unique flavor of Zinfandel that was completely unexpected. Though the Zinfandel by itself is definitely our preference. Two big thumbs up for this decanter set.

This decanter is always out on my bar. I typically use it for wine and u love it! It hold 2 750ml bottles at once. I've only used the smoker once and it seemed more trouble than it was worth, but a neat touch. Definitely a conversation starter with guests over

I absolutely love this simple, yet beautiful wine decanter. It's beautifully made, and very easy to clean. Just a little dish soap and water to swirl and you're set!The aerator is an added bonus to help speed up the aerating process, but it has an added bonus of a little strainer at the top. This is game changing as it prevents any bits of cork from going into your glass! It also adds a beautiful aesthetic down the side of the decanter when you pour it in. Drinks and a show!The smoker was something that I had never tried before, especially not with wine. I can't say if smoking wine is something I will do very often, but we have tried this with whiskey and tequila, and it really adds a nice robust flavor - perfect for Espresso martinis!Overall, a great product for yourself or as a gift !

This comes beautifully boxed. This set let’s you impress your friends either with the cocktail smoker for whiskey or using this as just a plain decanter by aerating the wine. So much nicer than simply pouring from the bottle! And it’s super simple to use: add some chips, light, cover and allow the smoking to begin. Overall, the decanter is about 9 inches wide and 10 inches high. The mouth of the decanter is wide enough so you don’t have to worry about spilling any wine or other liquid. This looks dainty but the glass appears to be very durable. Makes a great gift – definitely recommend.

This decanter is great. I like the shape of it, great for oxidizing the wine which gives you a better taste of wine. You can also add smoky texture into wine by using its additional tool wooden smoker.

I recently purchased another decanter very similar to this one, for roughly the same price, and I love it. When I have company over we often have a couple of bottles of wine out to meet the different tastes of my guests. When I saw this I had to try it out, not least because it has a smoker and I've been seeing 'smoked cocktails' pop up in some of the media I follow. Plus, I enjoy a tipple of whiskey every now and then so figured this would allow me to try that out.I strictly use the decanter for whine as I have other decanters for whiskey. The decanter is actually pretty heavy duty and has easy handled multiple trips in teh dishwasher (takes forever to dry though due to the shape)).The aeration works exactly as I expected, which is to say very well. I also swill the entire decanter after the wine is poured in, something this style of decanter handles with aplomb. We tend to try a sip of wine pre-aeration, then a small amount post. If it responds well to aeration then it goes into the decanter.I used the smoker on a whisky glass with some Four Roses single cask and I was pleasantly surprised. The smoker works very well (place it on the glass, wood chips into the basket, light it, put the lid on, let it do it's thing). It will take some experimentation to figure out just how much wood to use. Also, I recommend keeping a dish handy to set the smoker on when done. I don't think it will make a mess, but better safe than sorry.This package set is a great deal in my opinion and I very much recommend!

I have a single serve cocktail smoker which I, and all of my guests love to use. The problem is that it takes a while to make 4-6 cocktails using the 2 smoker covers that I have (smoking gun style). With the decanter, I can make a whole batch of cocktails and then pour them into the glasses after smoking. On the downside, I do feel that the drink is less smoky this way but not too significant of a difference. Its possible that the smoke flavor sticks to the glass in some way ( I am not a chemist so I can only hypothesize that something like this happens). But the time/labor saving feature of the decanter makes up for that difference. Either way, the smoke is the highlight of the show both from a visual standpoint and an olfactory experience (YUMMY CHERRY!)As far as using the decanter for wine. I am a fan of the filter/aerator. I am not sure if it is placebo or not but it does seem to open up the wine a little bit.Great product to help you be a great host... or enjoy by yourself!
