This 2-in-1 water bottle is an excellent accessory to carry along on trips with pets. There's room for pet treats or a whole meal. 35 ounces is a nice capacity of water depending upon the number of animals and the time one will be away from other water sources.Some drawbacks of the water bottle are that one must really crank down on the lid to close the bottle enough to align the bowl and allow it to fold into place. If one were to use the bowl to twist off the lid, it's quite likely that the bowl could break off. I'm careful to only use the loops for the shoulder strap when opening and closing the lid. I still have strong reservations about the long-term lifespan of this bottle's design.The water dispenses well, but the lid is still stiff to turn since it's so new. Time will tell.

I was really looking forward to this dog water bottle because it's larger than most. Unfortunately, it's made of the cheap hard plastic that will easily break if it's not handled perfectly. I can't imagine filling the bowl with water unless it was sitting on the ground, because the hinge seems like it will snap with any weight on it.
