The pruner itself is powerful and, so far, reliable. However, the pole part no longer functions. The pole apparently has a trigger function to the third (smaller) rail in the base of the pruner. When you squeeze the trigger on the pole, it tells the pruner to close (cut). The pole delivers the battery voltage to the rail, but that does not cause the pruner to cut anymore. There is now a voltage on the third rail (4.75V) when the pruner is attached, and there shouldn't be. This indicates a failure of one of the components in the pruner itself (the pole is dirt simple electrically). So, no pole pruner after only 8 months. Hopefully, the basic pruner function will continue to work...

These shears are amazing I just pruned 5 fruit trees in 4 hours and the battery was still going strong. Using manual shears in the past took me 8 hours, so this was a vast improvement! Very happy with this purchase. The extension was a lilttle heavy, but the clippers themselves are reasonably light. The shears are well constructed and come with two batteries and replacement blades.

I have two of these now. Much cheaper than a pneumatic pruner and, although they are heavier because of the battery, they are much easier to use as they are more maneuverable.

This is a great tool that works well for pruning our trees. The parts fit together easily and it’s nice to have a spare battery and an extra set of blades. The shoulder strap is really helpful so that it doesn’t get too heavy, and it has a safety feature that locks the blades in place when not in use. The only downside is that it was harder for my husband to grip the switches as his hands are much bigger than mine and he had trouble placing his hands correctly in ways that I didn’t when I used it, so it may be harder for a person with larger hands to operate. We also have some concerns that the plastic on some of the pieces may not be sturdy enough to hold up over time. Overall very pleased with the design and features.

Seller false advertisement of 45mm opening cutting. Pruner fail after 2 time of use. Seller want outside communication by email. Want me to record video for warranty, but I can't produce a video because I am not technical. Seller didn't want to honor warranty even though I gave picture of the broken/failed pruning shear to the seller.

Unit arrived yesterday [2024 10 23]. Well-packaged. So far, so good!Basic hand-held pruner works as advertised. Blades are VERY sharp - careful! Slightly stiff battery slide-on attachment will get easier with use, I suspect. A TINY amount of silicone grease might help? The charger 'wall-wart' unit that I received has a very sloppy fit in an ordinary wall socket. Green light on the wall-wart will come on if it is making contact. Wall-wart light changes to red when first connected to a partly discharged battery, reverts to green when battery is fully charged.Extension pole operation is described only in Chinese, but I eventually figured it out. Helpful hints:1. Tiny slide switch below the pole trigger must be slid up/forward [away from battery] to enable pole trigger function. Move it the other way to prevent pole trigger operation [safety 'feature'?].2. Pole trigger is functional only AFTER the usual slide switch & "double pull" on the basic pruner is activated to open the shear blades. Once this is done, depress the pole's trigger-lock button & pull the trigger to make cuts. Hold the pole trigger for about 5 seconds to lock the shear.3. When finished [shear blades are closed], you must turn machine OFF using slide switch on the main pruner unit, or just remove the battery...4. When unclamping the two slide-out extension tubes, beware the surprisingly heavy springs pulling them back in.. **** Hope this helps! ****
