i like the idea of a light with the dehumidifier. the ability to "recharge" it with a built in cord is also great. magnetic base, just pop it off and plug it in overnight. light is battery operated, comes on when door opens. bright enough to see everything in the safe. overall an excellent piece of equipment.

We have a home business and put a lot of envelopes and small boxes in our mailbox almost every day. But when it rains, the humidity causes the labels to wrinkle. I bought this unit to put in the back of the mailbox on rainy days to help control the moisture level inside the mailbox. It seems to work and should be easy to monitor and dry out with the attached electric drying coil that we can bring in and plug into the wall socket. A fan with this would have been nice, but maybe that will be another purchase later.

Very nice magnet mounting and motion light is added feature. The quality is very good and the small recharge cord Is also easier for recharging. Have not been install long enough to see how long it take's before a recharge, but for now i will give it 5 Stars.

It lowered the humidity a little, but the light stopped working after a month!
