This thing is a handy little tool to have if you eat a lot of melons. This tool allows you to get it out of the melon easily, slice and flip around and you have a fork the eat it with. I have 2.

When we first got these I thought, since my daughter eats so much watermelon, we’d give these a try. Now, while they are a little unwieldy (you get used to it), they’re brilliant!! We have never had so much fun! As silly as that sounds, it was fun. They are easily cleaned and no more messy than eating watermelon normally is. It cuts super easily as well!

this item bins when you cut the watermelon it is not sturdy enough to cut down to the core of the melon

Not helpful when cutting watermelon - it's easier to break off pieces with a regular fork. Slicing edge is awkward going in and drags while pulling and fork is bulky - feels very odd in mouth. Cheaply made. Was going to return but the only option would deduct a shipping fee for approx the same $ as what the product originally cost. Since when is there a return shipping fee? Waste of money!

It works well once you get the hang of it. Fork part does bend a little to easy though. Still a good purchase.
