This hydraulic disc brake hose kit does the job just fine, but it’s not quite as high-performing as some of the other brands out there. The materials are durable and the construction is solid, with good resistance to rust, temperature extremes, and general wear. While it holds up well and provides decent performance, it doesn’t quite match the top-tier options in terms of smoothness or longevity.It’s easy to install and serves as a good replacement for old or damaged components, especially if you’re looking for something functional on a budget. It’s definitely a practical choice, but for more demanding cyclists, there are higher-quality options that offer a bit more refinement. Overall, it’s reliable but lacks the premium feel of more expensive alternatives.

SRAM used a variety of banjo bolt connectors for their numerous brake systems that are out there. I failed to notice the subtle difference between this kit and my original SRAM brake hose, which had a similar looking but different designed banjo. Embarrassingly, especially for a former professional mechanic, to not notice the difference in the way the two banjos had been machined. Let's just say the installation did not get completed with this product, since it is the wrong one for SRAM Force road brakes. Be sure to verify that this product is compatible with your brake system before ordering and compare the fittings before you try to install. There are no instructions provided although there are plenty of you tubes showing how to do the job. Of course you need to bleed the system after you install.

I managed to scrape up my Rival front hose line installing/fitting line through the stem in a fully internal setup. I ordered this kit to replace the line. I had to cut off the banjo. I used the olive and barb from this kit and the olive and barb from the orignal sram kit. No difference between the pieces, no leaks. If I needed to change a line for SRAM again, would not hesitate to order this kit. (By the way, if you run fully internal through a stem, file the internal corners/edges of the stem with some small files so you don't scrape the line down to the kevlar internal weave when you do a fit and removal of the stem)

Not sure if I am wrong, but I found this hose to be little soft compared to the original one.As you can see the hose in the right ( original) still round with firm shape after being cutting, comparing to the one on the left, which is this brand.
