This long bottle cleaning brush is well-made. It’s basically like a toilet bowl cleaner, which is the perfect design to help clean all those hard to reach crevices in my large 5 and 3 gallon water bottles. Easy to assemble and simple to use and reaches all corners I need to clean. Bristles are hard enough that it cleans well but soft enough so that it doesn’t scratch the plastic bottle. Overall, very happy with the quality and functionality of these long cleaning brushes!

Worked like a charm for the jug I wanted cleaned. Outside of the squeezing of course.

Bought this for a glass carboy 3 gallon. Barely fits through the top and really have to maneuver it to get the top of the bottle. Feels very flimsy like it will break as I am scrubbing and moving it.

So far I've washed bottles, jars, and deep mugs with one of these. They fit (with a slight squeeze) in a carboy as well -- I'll just have to be careful and make sure the the head doesn't come apart from the handle and get lodged inside.Pros:* Bendable brush on the end.* Long handle* Fits in jars and carboys (tightly). I'll keep one for cleaning the brew gear and the other for general bottle/jar/mug cleaning.Cons:* Handle end cap comes off really easily. Hanging by the eye of the end cap may cause it to come off.* Threads in the handle (metal on metal) don't match those connecting the brush head (plastic on plastic, with a finer thread). This means you can't shorten the handle by screwing the end segment in. You can still pull off the end cap and put it on the other piece, but pulling it off repeatedly is probably not good for it.* Very thin walls on the tube of the handle. If it ever gets dropped on a hard surface, it will almost certainly crack on the bend that happens at any dent. For the price, these aren't bad. It's a little more comfortable and stable than the standard "fly swatter" handle that comes on longer bottle brushes.

This is a great set of bristle brushes for use in a carboy or large bottle jug. They're easy to assemble and deconstruct again by twisting them together for use and apart for storage, and they're lightweight but sturdy and durable. The bristles are stiff and sturdy, and the cleaning heads can be re-angled by bending the wires holding the bristles. These brushes are easy to use as well as sturdy and durable, and heavy brushing inside of long bottles doesn't make any bristles fall out; I couldn't even make them fall out by pulling hard at them.I am reducing the rating to 4 stars because the "stainless steel handle" claim doesn't seem accurate, I'm pretty certain they're aluminum, though they are strong. The bristle heads can only really be pushed down into bottles that have at least an inch of clearance in the bottle opening. Additionally, there was a cosmetic issue on one of mine where there was a dent in it, but despite that they're strong and I couldn't bend them easily at all. These brushes are easy to use to scrub even heavy debris out of a jug or large bottle. The handles are strong and sturdy so you can move the bristles around at almost any angle to reach up into the spots where it's usually difficult to clean. And you can easily clean out the bottles thanks to how stiff the bristles the cover the entire cleaning head, are.Overall, for around $10 this is a great deal for a very good set of large bottle brushes!* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
