Rechargeable batteries are, bottom line; a good idea.Sure, you can get cheaper standard batteries....But ARE they cheaper when you have to KEEP BUYING them? Now, I did not get these to power an ' Xbox'--just assorted remote controls and odd stuff.(There are so...so MANY remote controls laying around!) ....I have a faux 'alarm' light on the door of my shop, which is merely a blinking red light..battery powered. Thus far--these have been good batteries. They charge rapidly and (again; thus far) they last.About rechargeable batteries... an Advisement: BE CAREFUL!There are rechargeable 'AA' batteries....and there are rechargeable batteries that RESEMBLE 'AA batteries. But they are NOT.Always check the Voltage rating!A rechargeable 'AA' size 3.7v battery that looks exactly like a regular 'AA' size battery would FRY the electronics of most devices that are designed to use a standard 'AA' 1.5 v battery.

I almost exclusively use rechargeable batteries, everything from AAA to 26050, so I have tried a lot of brands. These stack up well enough and I'll provide what I've observed from my time with them.I'll get the one negative out of the way first. These batteries are an incredibly tight fit in my charger, 360 battery holder, and in the flashlight I tried them. It's a minor gripe but extremely tight fitting batteries run the risk of tearing the wrapper which is not just for looks. Using batteries with exposed sides is incredibly risky. The batteries came with around a 40% charge. This is not the best or worst I've ever seen. Less than 30% is a sign of long term sitting, so no worries here. They charge at a typical rate, so I won't knock them for that. For duration I can say they hold up well enough. In a Xbox One controller fully charged batteries seem to get roughly 14-18 hours. For rechargeable AA batteries you can find better but at a much higher price point. These are slightly more ideal for slower draining devices and I don't think I would use them for something like a speaker or RC vehicle.A big bump for me is the included storage/carrying cases. It is so much better to store your batteries in a case rather than charger or just sitting out. It prolongs their life by much more than you would think. These are as about middle of the road as I have seen, which isn't a bad thing. I recommend them for the price, but you may want to seek out pricier alternatives for frequent use or high drain.

Horrible batteries, will not hold a charge! Doesn't even last 30 minutes on full charge. If I could give this product zero stars I would.V/rMr. D. GardnerMinot, ND
