We had these horrible lights from the previous owner that did not fit the round holes so they've been hanging out of the ceiling for WAY TOO LONG. I finally pulled the trigger on these and I am so so so happy. Who knew such a small change could bring so much mental peace? The install was easy and straightforward - especially if you've ever installed any lights before. That being said, the instruction diagram for how to install the LED bulb was totally bizarre to me. Before you install the light, unscrew the metal tube that surrounds the bulb from the base (gently), then install the bulb, then screw the tube back on. NOW install. I totally miffed the first one up but thankfully had ordered 4 and only needed 3 so rather than trying to get it back together, I just moved on. They dim beautifully, no buzzing or other issues thus far. Love.

I put these in our basement entertainment area and they are perfect. They provide just the right amount of light for the small space, and I can angle them away from the tv so it doesn’t get a glare. They are a good value for the money, and they were easy to install.

Y'all, absolutely LOVE these little lights! We had a challenge. The home had a track light over the fireplace, an oddly placed entry light, and a builder's grade frosted glass ball light in a small area in front of a half bath and under the stairs closet. Oh, and another light fixture at the other end of the very long room. Yikes! We decided on removing all four fixtures and changing them from brass finish to black. We went with open frame flush mount lights for the two main lights. And then these little lights solved two problems. We removed the white track light and added one of these spots. It is small, it is mighty, and it lights up the fireplace and mantel with the drama it deserves. Focal point created! Yay! We then replace the round ball light by the closet and half bath with the other spot, and directed it toward the under the stairs closet (that had no lighting.) This small spot lit up the closet well, and offered diffused lighting on the floor and bath entry. Again, very understated, but mighty! We are very pleased with the results and the simple installation. We used GU10 40 watt bulbs in a warm tone, which are not included. The product page states they are dimmer compatible, but we can't speak to that as neither light is on a dimmer at this time. Choosing great lighting with different purposes is like accessorizing an outfit -- it makes all the difference!
