Fit perfectly on my new Black Oyster Pearl 4 piece Ludwig Fab kit. Came with 2 then realized the 2nd would work to protect the top of the batter rim for my cowbell. Great protection and they look very classy....

...but it totally worth the price and it's gonna work perfect. By now almost every bass drum at my house has one of this installed. Some others have the Pearl one, which comes with a very small hole and screw to be tightened onto the hoop. This TOUREN doesn't have it. You're gonna rely on the pressure it makes against the hoop (it's bendable so make it fit tight) and there's some "cushion" inside the hoop protector, where it touches the wood. It's not that thick, but if you're not touring the world or playing a Slayer tribute, I think it's gonna last for years.

Will work to preserve the hoops on my beautiful new kit. Only one issue is that the very front part of it is not padded. Definitely a less important area, but over time it will wear there and it would be a 5 star item if they had addressed this issue. Still would recommend.

I really like these, it's a great idea, and they go on the hoop quite easily. But unfortunately while my DW pedals go right on and fit great, my Tama Classic pedals clamps do not open far enough to fit with them on, so I can't really use them much.

The rubber that came on my wood bass drum hoop fell off. So I started using the cardboard drumsticks sleeve as a hoop protector. By chance came across this metal hoop protector. It went on easy and has a thin foam on the inside of the metal to cushion it from scratching the hoop. I tested trying to slide it side to side on hoop and it didn’t move. When I attached my pedal it felt more solid and stable. Definitely glad I got this!!
