Easy to Install RV Step Brace

Before purchasing, ensure that your RV step unit does not have braces or other structures underneath the step that can prevent the RV step brace upper plate from making proper contact with the step.

  1. Place the unextended RV brace under the bottom RV step. The base plate and the upper plate should lay flat and in proper contact with the ground and the step, respectively.
  2. Rotate the brace’s upper plate counterclockwise until it comes in contact with the RV step.
  3. Test the step. There should be little to no bouncing or movement at each step. Adjust as needed. Make sure to not overextend the RV step brace to where it's pushing the step up.

To ensure your safety and to ensure maximum stability, do not thread the brace all the way through. Leave at least 3 rotations from the base of the brace.

For best results, you can use 2 RV Step Brace Stabilizers on each end of the bottom step. This will allow equal weight distribution on both ends.

Used on my rv step. Set up and removal is a pain. But these eliminate movement when coming and going

My small camping trailer is low to the ground and regular stabilizers tend to hang too low and hang up when backing up my driveway. I’m currently camping and using the four I bought, using one for each corner of the trailer and they’re working great, very little movement when I move around the trailer . So far, so good.

They are flimsy they are very cheaply made poorly made their rickety. It makes my step more scary with that hundred with it rocking back-and-forth I tried to return them circumstances prevented me from doing so, so I have pricey paperweights, because I will not put them under my steps my opinion, nowhere near worth the money.

Bought this to minimize the bounce in our motorhome steps. What a difference it makes! One on each side of the bottom step removes all of the movement.

These stair stabilizers allowed me to get in and out of my RV hands full without having to hold on to the handle. They also allow my parents who are in their 70’s to enter and exit the RV with more ease, and less fear.I’m bottom step is spring loaded, initially I had the stabilizers on the bottom step and there was still some wiggling with use. Due to their ability to adjust in height, I moved them up one step for more stability and they are now very secure. I had to finesse them under a u shaped bar a bit but ultimately found a nice spot to tuck them in.I Highly recommend these especially if you are using your RV full time.

Works great to place under the trailer steps. Stops the rocking and movement when one steps on the stairs. Gave it 3 stars because the welding that holds up the stairs broke while being used and I pieced it together to hold up the stairs. When I contacted Amazon to return, they gave me the option to replace the product for which I chose and it was mailed to me quickly. I received the replant 3 days later. We are going camping again in a few weeks, same trailer so I will test it then and give feedback. The idea is fantastic, the product could be great except that it broke under pressure (welding that breaks that easily is something of a concern) but everything deserves a chance.

These were fair priced and worked exactly as expected. I am an amputee and the stabilizers make a significant improvement for me. My husband didn’t want mountable stabilizers so these were a great alternative. The only issue is that the weld on one plate broke the first time we used it. The plate was easily put back on and hammered in place and we can re-weld the connection at home. A chemical weld would also work but even without either solutions it is still effective and functions properly. Basically it shouldn’t have to require a repair after one weekend, even if it was put through the ringer test with an extended family weekend including 6 grandchildren and many many many in and outs of the trailer. Overall good item at fair price made of durable metal.
