These are particularly useful for replacing M6 screws and bolts which need to be removed or adjusted frequently using spanners or other types of tools. They are a direct replacement and enable you to simply remove or adjust them by hand.I had a particular use for them on my motor scooter which solved a difficult access problem for me. The whole seat lifts up and pivots forwards. At the front of the underseat area directly under the pivot is an access hatch for the battery and fusebox. Normally to gain access you need to use a screwdriver and remove three M6 bolts. Replacing these afterwards was an absolute nightmare and I kept dropping the bolts into the bowels of the engine compartment. I replaced the existing bolts with three of these star clamp bolts and my problems were solved.The star bolts are well made. The metal threaded part is perfect and the star clamp heads are all perfectly formed and seem very securely attached to the metal part. They screw into where they need to go without any issues.If you have a use for these M6 star bolts then you will find them indispensable timesavers.

M METERXITY 6-Pack Star Clamping KnobsI needed these clamping knobs for a tripod work light, so that I could position the lights at various angles.They have worked perfectly for that purpose.The plastic knob seems well attached to the tread.I even had to cut the thread down slightly on a couple of these and it did not affect this item in any way.So I am very pleased with these clamping knobs.
