Perfect fit for my Makita 6" pruning saw. These chains can be difficult to find and the OEM ones are far more expensive. This appears to be on good quality and is functioning just as well and the original chain. Believe this to be a very good value buy and would recommend.

This chain is specifically designed for a Makita pruning chain saw. I tried it on another 6 inch different, and it was not compatible for that. However, the chain is good quality and seems very well made.

These are the only reasonably priced aftermarket chains that i have found for the Makita XCU14Z!They work great!

I picked up a Makita 6" pruning chain saw this summer, if I'm not using it on the weekend, my wife is. I think it may be time to either change the chain or just give a quick sharpen. Chain changes are quick on this saw so having extras was a great choice. It is better to have them then it is to need them. These blades are sharp and cut clean, just remember to let the saw do the cutting, never force the cut. Your blades will last longer, and it is less stress on your saw. Oh yeah, the most important thing to remember, NEVER lone your saw out to ANYONE, it will come back dull, broken or bloody. Sorry, I just had to say that. It's not their tool, and most people don't care.
