If you car flasher unit fails then you may need one of these. In my situation my use case is for a classic car that uses an ancient mechanical flasher unit. These new electronic ones work well and are required if you have swapped incandescent bulbs for LEDs. Standard spade connectors made hookup easy to the existing classic car wiring harness. Now the turn signals/indicators flash again.
