neither worked. I wired in each potentiometer into my throttle position circuit and could not get them to vary resistance. Wired in a cheap 1 turn pot I had and it worked no problem.

If these are within the resistant value you are looking for, it has a great value. These are the real thing and work just fine.

I did not dislike anything about this product. I use it for electronic experiments. Could not give it a 5 rating because I don't yet know how long it will last.

Luckilly I only needed 1 for this project, the other was crunchy and the reading would jump up and down in steps

This pot works but a couple of important issues. First, the dial mechanism uses extremely small lettering and hard to see unless you are 12. I am thinking that they didn't want the dial mechanism to be any larger than the pot which limited the size of the lettering. No reason that they had to be the same size. Second, the tiny set screw that holds the dial mechanism to the pot shaft is very easy to strip and will fall out if you missed the shaft and turned it too much. When you reinstall the set screw to try again, make sure it is gently inserted so as not to strip the threads. In any case, install the dial in some location which will allow you to find the very tiny set screw in case you turned it too much. Lastly, do not assume the three terminals are the same as the three terminals in single turn (other other ten turn) pots. The center is NOT the wiper. The wiper on these (and other similar units) is the terminal furthest out and a little taller. The first two terminals are each end of the fixed resistance. This setup is embossed on the body but you have to notice it and be able to read it. Aside from the above, good pot and good value.

Amazon wouldn't allow me to not enter a star! Many dead spots in resistance values throughout the travel of the potentiometers! The counters have areas in their rotation that have added resistance (drag) while turning them. The potentiometers never hit zero ohms (or even close to zero) at either end of travel. Usually 5Kohms or higher! I believe these are factory rejects!
