only been using these less than a month. first the colors between headlights are different (both 5000k) one is the correct color the other seems like the voltage is too low. next just tonight 2/16/'25 both headlights worked intermittently. right side would be on, and left would be off then I would reset turn off turn back on left side would be on the right side would be off. Only both of them came on after shutting off for more than five minutes, which in the middle of the night is not safe. I would not recommend these ballast to anybody save yourself the headache. I will be sending these back ASAP.

First impressions Seems very durable and of very good quality. I'm very happy with the purchase and understand is a reasonable price.

I installed these back in 2016, the only thing I had to replace so far was the transformer after 8 years of daily usage.

It received good reviews and I bought it twice to replace the halogen lamp in my car. A bracket is also included, making it useful for installation.

I replaced worn out / blown Morimoto ballasts with these cheap ones, but they would not fire at all. I have a relay ballast installed with a dedicated line to each bulb, getting direct battery power via the relay. The ballast did not fire up the bulbs at all so I returned them. You may have better luck, but I'll be sticking to them more expensive brands.

Easy to install. These ballasts are cheap priced which is good, but also cheap made which is bad. That's why I had to order replacements- because they keep going bad every so often. One time it's the left side, the next it's the right side. Then it's the bulb (of the same brand), then another ballast goes bad. If you want some cheap HID ballasts and the entire HID kits (by the same company innovited) that are pretty bright and nice while they last, then get these. They are good while they last for sure. I however finally found something so much better and brighter! An LED headlight kit that's so so easy to install and that are the brightest lights I have ever had in a car period. Look them up, Auxito. You won't be disappointed

One of my headlight ballast failed so I got this 2-pack and replaced both. The installation is literally a snap, well one snap for each of four high-voltage connectors and one snap for each of two 12-volt connectors. They work as expected. As for durability, time will tell. Installation is super-easy, just unsnap the existing connectors and snap in the new ones.

It powers up, lights up the bulbs, so I guess it's ok there, but it doesn't seem to provide enough power to provide the bulb's true color. I've made my tests to confirm it's not a bulb issue, but a ballast issue.bottom line: stay away from any brand of slim ballast (until technology improves)

Worked well in my 2001 thru 2002 VW Beetle. No need to special hook up direct to battery. Needed to drill a hole at the back side of the light housing. Was easy enough with a drill and my Black and Decker dremel-type tool and a small sanding drum. Plenty of space behind both lights to just drop this all behind and leave it. Needed to splice into the middle plug-in prong (power to headlights) on both headlight units. That was simple with a pair of wire cutters and soldering gun and black tape. Fitted in the light bulb slot perfectly but needed to bend the snap spring a little with a pair of needle nose which took 10 seconds and done.
