My parrot let LOVES to shred things, and this was perfect! She at first avoided it because she was unsure of it and now half it it’s gone 😂 However it is not a very strong material and bigger birds such as African greys could take a bigger bite and choke

We have been using these for our 2 parakeets for several weeks now. They are super easy to clean and keep the birds busy for hours throughout the day. They also help cut down on seed mess outside the cage which is a huge win!

My kakariki is a digger, i have no mess feeders, with spray catchers around the side, figured Id try this and see how it works, faster than even a flat surface its all on the floor of his cage. I didn't take long for him to clear it so idk how much "foraging" he was really doing. I think putting this on crumpled paper would offer more entertainment for him foraging if I am honest.

I got this two pack of foraging mats for my cockatiels this Christmas along with a bunch of toys, and they LOVE these! I normally give them seeds in ramekin dishes, which means a much larger amount of seeds than these mats will hold. Surprisingly, my birds will choose the foraging mat over the bowls full of seeds! They have so much fun with these. It slows down their eating, they have fun, and it satisfies an instinctual need for foraging. I’m definitely happy that it cuts down on the amount of seed they eat, and they get more pleasure and enjoyment out of it. I’m thinking of phasing out the seed bowls and instead using just these foraging mats for their seed. I highly recommend these!!!!!
