These fit my old mounting holes perfectly. the plastic in these wear out before the metal does but replacing them is cheaper than just buying the plastic sleeves.

I have some seat bases like this made with Stainless Steel. The seat post socket is welded to the base, unlike this one which is a moulded single piece. They seem to be quite solidly built and much lighter than the stainless steel bases. I like them, think I prefer them to my S.S. ones. I can definitely recommend them.

I'm in the process of refurbishing my bass boat and wanted to replace the existing seat bases. These were appealing because of the light weight and the reinforced post holes at a bargain price. The bases appear to be true to the ad, just hoping that they are as strong as they look. Will be another month before I can install and test. Will update this review at that time.
