This clip works! However the wires are backwards, I wired my headlight in just as the old clip came off... now my normal light IS my high beam. When I click my high beam on. The low beam activates..... somthing inside this clip is crossed.

I bought these to fix a headlight that keeps going out—every time I hit a pothole, it shuts off. I’m not sure if it’s a wiring issue or something else. Honestly, I don’t think I wired it correctly, so I can’t say if it worked or not. Maybe someday I’ll get it sorted out and come back to leave an updated review.

When I went to replace a burned out headlight lamp on my 2001 Toyota tundra, I noticed the sockets were chard and brittle. Probably from the heat of the halogen‘s and engine combined over many years.The sockets come with flat push pins already connected to the end of the three wires. However, the width of the flat pushpins was greater than the female receptors I already had. So I just clipped them and crimped new flat pin connectors.

Was able to switch from a broken original connector to this one. The color codes were some what difficult to match, but just switching from high to low beam shows which is which prior to making a solid connection.
