This is a flimsy made product in my opinion. This handle should be made stronger as the job it does is very important and it receives a lot of stress to start an engine. I would send it back but I can’t find a local source that sells them. Our power was out recently and the handle on my generator had deteriorated over the years and I needed a replacement. The unit has been used very little for forty years but when we need it, I need to start it. The manufacturer should make a engineering effort to beef up this product. The importance of this product is everything to starting a engine.

These starter pull handles are okay, but could use improvement. They are a hard plastic and kind of hard to keep hold of. It would be better if they were made of a thicker plastic with a bit of a rubber coating.

The handle and ropes are made of sturdy materials and should last just as long as the OEM brand which costs many times more.I would recommend this to anyone who does their own service on their lawn equipment.
