The GT-U7 GPS module works perfectly with a Raspberry Pi. I used it to set up a time server and achieved incredible time accuracy. It’s reliable, easy to work with, and made for a fun and rewarding project. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experiment with GPS-based timekeeping!

Connected to ESP32 and usually get a first fix indoors in 1 to 3 minutes which is fine for my application. Subsequent startups get a fix more quickly.Outdoors should be faster to first fix but haven’t tried.

I bought two of these, the first one had some issues. It powers on but you can't power it via pinouts. The 2nd worked fine on the breadboard. Speed and accuracy are good enough for what I needed.
