Product Description

Introductions: This is 2pcs MacPherson Struts Spring Compressor 300mm WITH DETENT PINS. With the adopted premium material, they are durable and reliable to use.

Instructions: 1. Lubricate both main shafts with oil 2. Align the hooks with the safety pins backed off so the hooks will fit over the spring 3. Position both set of hooks 180° a part, opposite each other 4. Push safety pins in the lock position on hooks 5. Using a 3/4"or 19mm socket and ratchet turn the main shaft compressing the strut spring enough to safely remove the fastener nut holding the cartridge

Had them three days in already used them four times, I didn’t know it was so easy to swap strut springs, and never once did I feel unsafe, but there is a rule of thumb Don’t ever look straight down at the strut from either end work it from the side.Update: have R&R’d strut springs 12 times so far still working great

I bought this spring compressor since my existing spring compressor can only open 10 inches and could not fully compressor the front springs on my 1991 Toyota Previa to reinstall the new struts. It is advertised as 12" but it is really about 11" (spring center to spring center). It was enough to get the job done.Pros: Good price, nice build quality, easy to use, plastic carry caseCons: Maximum safe opening about 11" (See picture). Would not recommend if you need 12" or more to compressor your spring.

son bastante fuertes y seguros, el único pero, es que ya estaban usados, la rosca ya estaba lubricada con aceite usado y la caja estaba rota en una esquina, supongo que alguien lo compró, lo usó y lo devolvió, muy educado.

This thing is amazing. I was pretty hesitant using it and I was extremely cautious, but wow I was impressed with it. It works so well. Compressed sport springs which are super stiff with them. I did need two sets as my springs curve. But wow.
