Very light weight, thin plastic, but if you are using them to model socks for photographs, they may be perfect. I was expecting them to have a bit more weight to them to use in a craft project. If showing off your socks is the goal, these twinkle toes may be the perfect fit!

Edit to add: they are both identical, so there isn't a right and left. They're universal enough that it's only by the ankle bones that you can tell they aren't right and left, and it's subtle enough that no one will really notice. The foot shape is not markedly different, the toe area is in the center so they're really fine as a pair.I love these. I'm a sock knitter, so of course I'm going to post a photo of a sock I knitted, modeled by these amazing mannequin feet. You'll notice that they really do stand up by themselves, whether they have a sock or shoe on them or not. The length of the foot is exactly as specified, a hair over 10 inches heel to toe. That's right about a women's shoe size 10 or men's 9, give or take. That's perfect for the sizes of socks I'm knitting. Even though it seems like the arch is low, there's width across the heel to instep so the socks have to stretch just a tiny bit and that really makes them look good. I am deliriously happy with these, I've been looking for years to find some this nice. And they stand up on their own!
