I honestly despise silicone basting brushes. I really prefer these classic basting brushes. They just hold and spread liquids so much better than their silicone counterparts. The main issue is when these viruses lose their bristles. So far, I have not experienced bristle loss. Not sure how long that will last, but so far pleased. The brushes have been used for egg wash, milk wash, oil, and butter. They have survived the dishwasher. I also appreciate the 2 different widths. Overall pleased.

The brushes are easy to clean with warm soapy water; I let them air dry thoroughly to maintain the bristles' integrity.
