The signal generator is a device that provides electrical signals at a variety offrequencies, square wave, and output levels. It is used as a signal source or excitation source for testing. There are 2 modes supported.
Normal Mode:
Frequency range 1Hz~150KHz, duty cycle range 0.00Percent-100Percent. duty cycle accuracy 1%.
Exact Mode:
Frequency range 1Hz~15KHz, duty cycle range 0.00Percent-100Percent, duty cycle accuracy 0.1%.

Work Voltage: DC 3.3V-30V
Frequency Accuracy: 2%
Duty Cycle Range: 0. 00Percent-100Percent
Output Current: About 5-30mA
Output Amplitude: Same to input voltage
Work Temperature: -104℉~185℉(-40℃~85℃)
Work Humidity: 0%~95%RH
Parameter Setting:
This product adjusts the frequency and duty cycle by rotating the potentiometer. It can realize rapid adjustment according to the rotation speed. By default, adjust the duty cycle. Short press the adjustment frequency, long press for 2 seconds to lock, and long press for 5 seconds to switch the mode (normal mode/exact mode). The operation is simple. After setting, the parameters are automatically saved and will not be lost in power failure.
The frequency is divided into 4 ranges and switched automatically.
1. XXX: minimum unit 1Hz, value range 1Hz~999Hz.
2. X.XX: minimum unit 0.01kHz, value range 1.00kHz~9.99kHz.
3. XX.X: minimum unit 0.1kHz; value range 10.0kHz~99.9kHz.
4. X.X.X: minimum unit 1kHz; value range 1kHz~150kHz.

Item only has 4 connections.Ground, + battery, - battery, and a pcm( brown wire on alternator, [ excite wire] ). Pretty straight forward install. No power and unit does not work. Not sure why and just to clarify i search for online videos. None found. I just passed the return date so i lose my money. What a waste. Maybe a video installation attcahed to the product will help future buyers...

using this to generate signal to control a PWM radiator fan, works perfectly well in my application, i have constant 12v running to it, ground is hooked up to a thermal switch which turns this unit on at certain temperature, which in turn sends signal to the fan
