I have this mounted to my gate fence post to help find the latch at night. Love that it can stay on all night because it's fully charged sitting in the sun all day. However, I only have set to motion since I want to know if it gets tripped by a person. I have my security camera also catching the face of anyone that comes close to the light/gate and this illuminates it very well.
