I bought this to use while at work. Tell me why the entire office is using my new tea gadget. It holds a lot of tea, not a lot of particles/residue from the tea leaves. Very easy to clean.

I used this loose leaf tea filter and thought it was ingenious. Super easy to clean and stays put with the curled top design, resting snuggly in you cup to steep some delicious tea. I added some honey and used it to stir the tea as well. When I had Covid tea with honey made my throat feel so much better.

While this item is cheap, unfortunately, it doesn't perform very well. The problem with it is that the chamber is confined only to the tips of the strainer, and the back of the strainer is impervious to fluid flow. This means that the tea can only mix towards the front (and some of the top holes). Because of the limited volume of the strainer and the rapid expansion of the loose tea leaves, the hot water isn't really able to mix all that well with the loose tea inside, resulting in a weak tea that doesn't taste very well.In addition, the holes in the front are large enough to allow larger-size fines to escape the strainer and into the cup. Some of these fines are large enough to be noticeable when drinking. In addition, the design of the strainer is a bit hard to get clean because of the nooks and crannies that are created by the sliding mechanism. The included brush is a bonus, but they don't reach in these crevices all that well.

Steeps well with the small holes, seems to clean easily and has not leaked leaves into the beverage
