I got these shelves for my kitchen to hold various bottles because we tend to put them in the pantry and forget what we have. I pre-measured the space beforehand, and I’m glad I did because the shelf is 2 feet tall and 4 feet long. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble, mainly because I accidentally installed one of the sides upside down and had to remove and realign the shelves. The shelf is fairly modular, meaning you can adjust the placement of the shelves and choose whether or not to use the angled end pieces. We opted not to use the two angled display shelves on the sides, as we wanted to store bottles on the ends to ensure the weight was evenly distributed. The metal frame is thick, and once assembled, the shelf feels extremely sturdy and stable. The shelf came with pre-seated mounting screws on each shelf and additional mounting screws with anchors. There are four mounting points, so you’ll need a second person to hold it in place while you secure it to the wall. Overall, I’m really happy with this shelf, though I do wish it had a small lip or edge to keep bottles from sliding off if someone bumps the wall. Since it's in my kitchen, people getting up from the table tend to nudge the wall, which causes the shelf to rattle a bit. I think this wouldn’t be an issue in a larger dining room, but to prevent any accidents, I plan to add something to keep the bottles secure. One feature I really like is the built-in stem glass holder at the bottom of the shelf. It’s a great touch and makes it easy to grab a glass and a bottle at the same time. Overall, this is a great shelf for anyone who doesn’t have room for a full bar but wants a stylish, functional place to store their bottles and glasses.
