BEWARE: The diameter of these wheels is NOT 3 inches as claimed. It is 2 3/4 inches at the edges, and slightly larger than than that, maybe by 1/16th inch, in the center (the wheels do not have a flat tread from side to side; the tread is slightly bowed in the center).I used them to replace a broken wheel on a folding shopping cart. The exact diameter was not critical in this case, except that I ended up having to replace both wheels instead of just one to keep them even. But if your application needs the full 3 inches advertised, you will be frustrated.

The company that made my 5 burner gas grill went bankrupt a few years ago so when one of my caster wheels broke this spring and I couldn’t find a genuine manufacturer’s replacement part for it, I found these which appeared pretty close to the size of the original wheel, so I bought a set (2 wheels). Perfect fit! Buying another set to keep, just in case the others break. Time will tell if it’s durable but it matched the other wheels and rolls well, so I’m happy I didn’t have to buy four new casters and have to retrofit or replace all the wheels. Parts were reasonably priced and shipped fast. Happy so far! Gave 4 stars because durability not known yet. So, these work with gas grill caster wheels, not just patio heaters, as it states in the description.

these are better than the hollow plastic wheels that were on my patio heater. These are solid plastic. They unfortunately are a bit too tall (by about a half an inch) so you may need to adjust your wheel bracket up some. Even when doing that, some of the weight of the heater still rests on the wheels. The wheels are also narrower than what they replaced.

These wheels for patio heaters are solid, not hollow. So they are stronger than the originals which were hollow.
