We have a huge limestone fireplace in the middle of our renovated 1950's rancher. Getting a wifi signal through thisonolith is impossible. We decided to hard wire all of our TVs with quality ethernet cables. These adapters allowed us to connect smaller lengths of Cat 6 cables without sacrificing internet streaming speed because of a break in the cable. They are heavy, sturdy connectors. I had other cheap plastic ones but the connections were not great. These create a seamless "splice" without actually cutting the cable and trying to splice on another few feet.I would recommend. I was surprised at the great quality for the reasonable le price.

I am relocating some Cat5 cables from one wall to another, and I needed to use some couplings in the attic to make the cables reach to the new location. These were perfect. Heavy-duty, with very positive-feeling connections to the Cat5 ends.
