I bought these because I wanted the extra grip the handles give for scrubbing - but all 3 handles broke within one hour of using.

I wanted to like this, but unfortunately the sponge sloughed off and left a mess. I used it to clean tile and liked the handle and idea of it, but not good for cleaning tile.

The three scrubbers seem to work as described. The dimensions are close to what I measured. They are sturdy. I used one to scrub the bathroom floor and remove a stain around the base of the toilet. It worked well for that purpose. The floor was tile. I have not tested to see what surfaces they scratch. I think they are worth the $12 cost, especially if you need 3. I think they will last quite a while.

I use this on our pool for general cleaning and have no problem. But when I do an annual scrub down of the walls of the pool, my knuckles rub against the plastic top and I end up bloodied. I usually find that if I hold it with my fingers flat, grasping the side, and don't put them under the handle, I don't have the problem. But it also means I don't have the same grip or leverage.
