Update: strong gasoline smell did come out completely after I let them air out outside for a while (I actually waited about 48 hours before checking them again, so I’m not sure how long it took).These world flag table covers arrived fast (I ordered them for a 2024 Olympics party), packaged neatly, and they look just as described, but MY GOD do they smell bad -- as though the manufacturers soaked them in a vat of gasoline for a year before shipping. When I opened the package the fumey smell almost knocked me out. Took them outside to air out for the weekend and will report back if that does the trick. In the meantime, I hope that few minutes of smelling them didn't do permanent health damage, because yikes.

I should rate this product 5 stars if it was like the ones I got last year, but I am rating it 1 star. When we opened the package to use it during the first night of our Missions Conference, everyone was covering their nose. I and other people even felt nauseous because of the so strong smell of paint or gas that invaded the hall. We opened the rest of the table cloth hoping the strong smell will go away to use the next day but it was the same. I ordered 8 pieces per pack. It was a waste of money. The ones I ordered previous years were okey. Sorry but I had to throw them away.
