This bracket is made of steel just under 1/8" thick, claimed to be galvanized and what looks like a powder-coat finish. There are two very neat looking, probably robot-made welds on the upright post. There are two attachment points on the base, one for the pivot and a second that runs in a semicircular slot to lock the angle. A pair of 1/4" stainless steel bolts and nuts are provided for this, and also enough wood screws to fill all the screw holes. I'm planning a solar panel rack which will need a 35 degree slope, and some of these will be just right for that purpose. Nice product.

They say it's 3.55 inches, but I measure slightly more, 3 5/8.Always double check this, because a lot of Chinese brands don't understand US lumber dimensions, and will make it actually 4 inches.But this should work fine. You just get one with this set - multi-packs will be a better savings if you need more than one.This is a versatile riser, adjustable, great for pergolas or similar.The material is good for outdoor use - galvanized and painted with a good coat of paint. It should provide good protection against corrosion and rust.The screws and bolts are included.
