The product looks to be great quality, very sturdy. But my chickens were not impressed. Well the roosters were... they weren't really interested in mounting the chicks prior but heck were they after I put that on the chicks. They looked adorable, like they had little backpacks on. They acted like they were carrying rocks though. Backing into corners, walking in circles, falling over... so ya, after a day though they seemed fine. Just one of my chicks had an injury, I think it wasn't the right fit. Her name is Juicy... so you know, she is a bit fluffy... it might have been too tight. It kind off cut off the circulation to her wing, so I took it right off and she was fine within a few hours. But the product itself is very thick, so it will definitely protect the chicks.

Now the rooster is after the wing feathers... so I think it's time for chicken soup but as for the fit size and effectiveness- these are excellent

I love these for my chickens. I have medium size chickens, Rhode Island reds, wyondottes, barred rocks, sapphire gems, golden comets. They all fit them well. The only think I don't like is after awhile the button rust so I have to buy another set because they don't hold anymore. That's why it's not 5 stars.
