I took these to New Zealand with me and they stood the test for 3 weeks. The rubber is a bit cheap, but they would great.

Looks nice but there is hardly any tension for it to stay close. I handled an identical case at my local fly shop and that one has very firm tension and a very firm lock. This one has such weak tension and such a weak lock that I don't expect it to stay closed. All there are like this.I think it has to do with the gasket around the case, it's too small. It scratches if you look at it. The cut out slits are not great for very small flies, it's the wrong design. Returning to try a different brand and different slits.

Great fly box. Holds tons of flies and easy to pull out flies and easy to put them back. They are nice and thin and you can carry several in your fly very or chest pack. They are super strong and close shut and stay there. I love these boxes

These seem quite sturdy, and they hold many flies, even some very small streamers. The slots hold flies securely, but they are a bit tight for any but the smallest flies. I wish they were just a little higher, so that they could be used for streamers more effectively. They have helped me improve the organization of my flies. I haven't had them long enough to see how well they last though.

While I have not actually used these on the water yet, I’m initially very impressed. I’ve been looking at (and like) the Tacky brand of fly box because of the silicone instead of the standard foam but they are rather pricey in my opinion. These appeared to be very similar from the description so I took a chance. They look to be of good quality as well as waterproof. There is a good tight lock and a seal around the edge. The silicone slots also feel secure when I insert a #10 Humpy as well as a #20 midge. And while it is a slim box, my Humpy doesn’t get smooshed when I close the lid. At less than $10 per box, these are a great value for me. I initially ordered 2 sets (6) but immediately ordered another 2 sets as I’m switching all my flies over to these boxes.
