cheaply made, has pieces of plastic that catches on the material, and the edges are sharp.

These aren't great in my opinion. I find the point is too sharp, it pierces the fabric. The edge is not really smooth. I have better luck with a wooden chopstick, the ones that come free with chinese food. Wish I could return but past the return window. Cheap plastic (there is good plastic and cheap plastic...this is cheap plastic.) These could be so much better.

This is a fantastic tool for applying library spine labels. I've tried a variety of styles to push out the tiny bubbles on spine labels, but these are the BEST. I use the knife-like edge when applying labels to new and well-loved books. I'm gifting them to my cohort as a fun and valuable present.

These little tools are a must for any seamstress or tailor. It helps to get collars crisp and brims of bonnets sharp. I didn't know how much I needed these until I had them. If you know someone who sews clothes this would.be a grrat gift for that person!

This works great. I just took a file and blunted the tip a bit. But overall very happy with it.

These certainly disappointed me. Cheap, flimsy plastic. BUT… sharp enough to cut a sandwich in half. I don’t need sharp or extremely pointy gizmos on my sewing table. Turning a point is one thing, these will immediately poke through most fabrics. If I keep them, I will sand or melt the tips. Was going to return them, but for the effort involved, considering the price I likely won’t. The images are fairly misleading. Any kind of decent pressure on the side (deflection/seam-flattening, and this will snap and very potentially wind up with a chunk in your eye. Wrong kind of plastic, if that makes sense. The SHAPE is great. Make that shape out of wood or a different plastic composition and it would be fine. I don’t have time - or space - for cheap, flimsy tools.
