Too bad the pigtail colors are so similar. That said this is a fine connector and it’s got a very tight connection.

I got these because I replace the bilge pump on my boat every year and it is hard wired from the factory (not sure why) and is in a very tight location. It is very frustrating to replace when laying on my stomach with half my body stuffed into the bilge area while cutting wires, stripping wires, crimping connectors, using a heat gun for heat shrink etc., Then, only being able to use one hand for some tasks resulting in dropping things in the bilge area that I have to try and fish out. Plus, it is physically painful at times (this varies by boat design and bilge placement).By hard wiring these connectors between my boat's wiring (one-time job) and the bilge pump wiring, I no longer have to cut the wire shorter and shorter on my boat with each replacement and future bilge replacement is a breeze. I also use the same model bilge each time to ensue ease of the physical bilge pump swapping too (new pump clips right into the existing mount).The best part is, the wiring of the connector to the boat wiring only needs to be done once and all future bilge pump replacements only need the other side of the connector to be added to the the new pump, which can be done in a much more comfortable place and position.The connectors are incredibly easy to use, thanks to their straight plug-in installation. The rectangular shell includes an integrated latch, ensuring a stable and reliable connection that is not prone to accidental disconnections. This is essential in a marine setting where vibrations or moisture could compromise lesser quality connectors.I found the length of the wire (20 cm) adequate for my needs, allowing me to securely attach the connectors without needing additional extensions. Their versatility is a significant advantage; while I used them for a specific purpose on my boat, they are suitable for a broad range of applications including automotive and industrial uses.So far, these have proven to be a durable, reliable, and easy-to-use solution for me.
