I bought this replacement speaker to use in my Swan 500C ham radio. It is the correct replacement size of actual speaker, BUT the mount is incorrect for the Swan. By turning it slightly sideways, it fits! It works great electrically and gives sufficient volume. I also do have a Siltronix without a speaker, but it is a parts radio, used ot fix others. This speaker appears to fit that chassis just fine. The audio circuit on the Siltronix is the same/very similar to the Swan, should work fit and functionally very well. Price was "way right" too.

Just like Stan T. said, packaging wasn't the greatest, but it arrived just fine. Fit my machine perfect and works great. Only thing is that I received a 16 ohm speaker instead of the advertised 8 ohm. Didn't matter to me, but FYI.

I bought this speaker to replace one that was missing in a vintage communication receiver (Realistic DX-150A).. I bought it based on its size, hoping I would get lucky and it would bolt right in.. As expected it was not an exact fit, but worked with a little creativity.. As for function,.. It probably works as well as what came in the receiver.. These speakers are probably takeouts or possibly left overs as they are marked SHARP on the back..I thought it strange that it shipped to me in a padded envelope.. Even though a piece of card board was taped over the front of the speaker cone, I felt lucky that it arrived intact.. So packaging more than anything gets it only three stars..
