This switch helps me switch between my generator and shore power without any fuss which is very important when I’m out camping and need power. The installation was not too hard. I’m not an electrician or anything but the instructions were clear enough that I could follow along. It took me a little bit of time but I managed to get it set up without any problems. Once it was installed I felt a lot more confident about using my RV's electrical system. The main function on this transfer switch is how it automatically switches between power sources. This means when I plug into shore power at a campsite the switch takes care of everything for me. And when I need to use my generator it switches to that without me having to do much at all. It really makes a difference and avoids any damage. The switch is built pretty well. It feels sturdy and durable which is important because I want my stuff to last. I’ve used it a few times now and it has worked perfectly every single time. I didn’t experience any hiccups which is a relief when you’re out in the middle of nowhere. Keep in mind this switch is for 120V systems so make sure that matches with your setup. It’s also rated for 30 amps which is good enough for most RV needs but if you have a really big setup you might want to check if this is the right choice for you.

They have very convenient snap connectors. No need for the old wire nuts. Easy to wire works perfectly.

This works great but does have a higher than normal hum to it. So make sure your placement area isn’t going to drive you nuts when installed

I upgraded the transfer Switch in my sail boat from a 20A to a 30A. This will help in reducing my refit time while docked and allow me to run any electronics that I need. This was an easy swap and the construction quality is top shelf.I do recommend and I would buy this switch again.
