This is a very nice fire feature insert. It puts out a lot of heat and the flames look realistic. We bought this for my mom for Christmas and she loves it. I love the brick look on the back wall. It’s very quiet which I really like! 5 stars for this one!!!

My wife wanted our old gas logs replaced, and to paint the bricks at the same time. So that is exactly what I did. When everything was removed and the bricks painted I took a good look around for an electric fireplace. I measured the opening very carefully. I checked out a ton of electric fireplaces on Amazon. I bought this one because it's measurements matched mine. But after buying it, I was concerned in case it would not fit. Well, it fitted perfectly, in about two minutes. It doesn't have brackets or screws because you don't need them. I think this may be the first review I have written on Amazon. I am doing so tonight simply because we love this. It is just beautiful and transforms the room. The crackling effect actually works very well. With free shipping my ETA was 10 days, but it arrived today taking just 3 days. I just cannot say how much I recommend this model. Final thing, I could have run the power cable through the front, then plug in to a 110V outlet. However, apart from being poor electrical practice, the cable looks unprofessional. I had an electrician install a dedicated outlet - behind the unit, in the old fireplace. It was difficult drilling through the thick walls of the old fireplace. $300 and worth every cent. Highly recommend doing it this way. Finally, I like a lot that you can have the logs "burning" with or without the heat on. So I just leave the logs lit up as I like looking at them!

It arrived at 2pm and we had it "burning" by 4pm. Had to take the doors off the entertainment center and popped it in place. I read the whole manual first (as I always do) and then put the battery (coin battery 2032) in the remote (it doesnt come with one--you learn that when you read the manual) and switched it on, and it was all cozy from there! 😊 Very nice looking and sturdy, measurements were dead on! Heater Fan is quiet, has crackling sound effects if you want them. Helps take the chill out of the room. We love it!

I replaced my ventless gas fireplace with this electric insert. It hasn't gotten very cold yet, so I have not had it on for long periods of time, but when I have tried it out it seems to work very well. Of course the flames don't look like real flames, since they are just lights, but they still look nice. The glowing embers do look fairly realistic. The warmth coming out is certainly sufficient to heat the space it is in. Installation was straight forward. The remote control is great. The crackling sounds are not very convincing, but one doesn't have to use those. This unit was considerably less expensive than many of the other brands, and so far I think it is a good bargain. We'll just have to see how it holds up over the years.

Really happy with the electric fireplace. Quality material, very realistic looking. I was pleasantly surprised as to how much heat it puts out I give it a five star recommendation. Wish the remote was a little heavier with better material but so far it works so I can’t fuss.This is an addition to my earlier review: Now that the weather is cold I'd like to leave a note to the seller or manufacture. The heat feature would be so much more effective if the heat blew from the bottom of the fireplace. The fireplace is putting out lots of heat but my feet are cold,

We have only been using this item for several days. It was easy to install and fit almost like a glove in the size opening we have. The logs and fire look real from a short distance. The only downside is there is a reflection which is not too big of a deal, but you do see it. So far we are very happy with this product. We have not turned the heat on as of yet. We have it in a large room and don't expect much from it for heat. For the money it was a good buy. I plan to review at some point in the future when we have used the heat as well.
