  • Yes. The wire clips have the "gripping hole" design that can be adjusted to lock the cable. Wires wil be tightened without slipping.

  • Yes, it works like a clip. With one hand holding down the cable clip and the other hand opening the latch, you can easily take the wires out of it.

  • Heat the wire holder with the hairdryer about one minute and then peel off it with a ruler. A more efficient method is to apply some adhesive removers (e.g. Goo Gone, WD40) and carefully and gently try scrapping it off.

I have a lot of cables to route around my desk. Cable management is a big deal. I looked at several options, and settled on this product. These clips use adhesive so there is no drilling into your furniture or walls or whatever the cables run along. A lot of clips are like this but it is still a good thing. They are able to tighten fairly small to grip small cables like you might have for a PC peripheral, but big enough to enclose thicker cables such as power, HDMI, and DisplayPort. Some of them do not stick well. This might be affected by the finish of whatever surface you use: in my case, I have a desk coated in oil-based polyurethane. Most of these clips stuck to it okay, but several refused to stick at all. Others would stick, then come loose later. I used some double-sided tape to fix it, which is still working well. Again, this might be different if your surfaces have a different finish such as paint, bare wood, or veneer. While they have a decent range of size cables they can work with, you will be hard-pressed to fit multiple cables inside them especially with one larger cable such as HDMI or CAT6. If you have a lot of thicker cables, this product is probably not for you. You will need something bigger and sturdier.Over all, I am happy with the product. While it is not perfect, it works fairly well. My only gripe is that some of them are unusable as-is due to poor adhesion and I needed to use double-sided tape. If you have a lot of cables or many thicker cables, you may be better off with a cable tray instead of clips. Or, use clips to complement a cable tray when smaller cables need to route places the tray does not go.

I bought these to keep the various wires that connect to my laptop from falling off the back of the desk when disconnected. I read the reviews before purchasing and my experience has been very good so far, as many others have already mentioned. For an item like this, the requirements are pretty simple - be functional, easy to use, durable, and reasonably priced. These have met all of those criteria for me. The design of the clip closes securely without being overly complicated. The adhesion appears to be very strong on those that I've applied but I can't speak to their ease of removal as I've not needed to remove or reposition any yet. I've already found additional places in the house to tidy up other wires so none of the quantity will go to waste. Good purchase and recommended.

I’ve only used a couple so far from the pack, but will definitely used the rest of them for getting my dream setup together. Baby steps...Anyway, the adhesion is pretty solid! Before getting them to stick, I make sure the area in which I place them is clear of dust. Afterward, they hold on pretty well. It’s been a couple weeks, and the two clips are still going strong. I have a 40ft long Ethernet cable that is wrapped around one of the clips, a few times, like a garden hose, to compensate for the extra length along the wall. I can even fit a few of the cable wire loops inside one clip. These will definitely help a lot with cable management! Just be sure to wipe down the area first before you stick the clips on there!

No sirven!

So I got these after the first adhesive clips that I got fell off the metal part of my desk, it was obvious that I was gonna need something stronger, and sadly I looked in the wrong place for the most part. After putting them on my desk and leaving it alone for a few days they started dropping just like the old clips, even made sure to wipe the frame clean just to make sure that the old adhesive wasn't interfering in some way, of course that didn't help at all, overall these things were disappointing, at least the adhesive was. So I went onto Amazon and bought Gorilla super glue, took off the adhesive, applied the super glue and now it's perfect. No falling clips, no falling wires and everything is as it should be. Now the only thing I should be worried about is if the clips break however the clips seem strong enough, the glued ones haven't budged an inch and even after 2-3 weeks they are still going strong and I'm pretty sure they will for plenty of years to come, will edit the review if they break or anything. I will probably be replacing more of the clips adhesive with super glue since quite a few of them keep on unsticking.-Pros:---Clips can hold thick wires/smaller wires-Cons:---Adhesive is pretty bad---does not stick for that long/started unsticking after a few days---only works after I used the gorilla super glue

I had read other reviews of this product and was nervous about the adhesion to some of the surfaces I needed this product to work on, but for the price, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. I'm glad I did, because these guides work very well.I have a projector mounted to my ceiling in the basement. My goal was to use these to route the cables (Power and HDMI) along a ceiling stud and down the wall behind my screen, and to my signal splitter. Considering the studs and some of the molding around the ceiling was somewhat "hairy" wood, I was nervous that these would not adhere properly. My fears were abated when I used four of these along the 6 feet of ceiling to route these two heavy duty cables. They stuck well to the studs, the wood crown molding, and the wallpapered walls in the basement. My favorite part of these is the dual channel clips on each hook. I was able to route the power cable through the large circular portion of the clip, while the HDMI cord went through the smaller triangular portion. This kept things looking neat and uncrowded for the entire cable run.Buy with confidence! I'd surely buy them again if I need them!
