Although, I ended up deciding to hang my curtains up without rings, these ring and hook combo item was actually great quality. The needle and of each hook was sharp and would easily penetrate any thick fabric that doesn't already have a hook belt sewn on. It came in a nice flat plastic box that you could reuse as storage as well. Another plus was that the needle end of the hooks were tightly pressed against the body of the hook so that it would hold the fabric of your curtain tightly. Drapery hooks sold at big box stores have a larger gap so your fabric would be flopping around.

These hooks are fantastic for the drop down style look! They looked small at first but fit my industrial pipe curtain rod perfectly

I ordered two packages of these and the count was wrong in both of them. I have exactly the number of pins I need, but about 4 rings short. I don't recommend buying these if you need to use all of them. Also one or two of the rings weren't a full circle, so the quality of craftsmanship isn't good either. Also, the pins fall out of the rings when I open/close the curtains. Bad product.

I was able to use for two large windows. It makes it easy to slide the curtains. The pins were a little hard to poke in but they are very sharp. I used a velvet curtain and a cotton one.
