I locked down some cabinets with this chain and small padlocks. The links can't be cut with normal hand tools. I needed hardened compound nippers to cut the links. The unlocked chain falls away in a neat pile unlike steel wire which twists and gets in the way. The chain and lock keeps away the curious from expensive tools and products.
