This is a well-made and designed variable speed and length linear actuator. Great for many projects needing repetitive linear motion. Not recommended for wet environments though.I am using it for a knife whetstone sharpening project. To create a precision edge sharpening tool by moving the stones instead of the knife. The 70mm stroke is just enough for my size stones. It runs quiet, and reliably. Very satisfied.

This actuator is super smooth and easy to set up. The adjustable speed allows for a large range of applications. It’s also surprisingly quiet & lightweight. Definitely a solid option.
