Super Happy to find this speed controller as I've had one science experiment to do ever since I was a kid--that of making a "tornado" display using a multi- fan setup and using this speed controller to adjust the speed of the fans for best effect. This fits the bill PERFECTLY!!! Super nice as I can also use a 12vdc OR 24vdc power supply for whatever fans I decide to use because this speed controller can range from 7-60 vdc. The 30 amp maximum will not be a limitation problem at all.

This quality speed controller comes with everything you need for DIY DC volt projects and is a great price at $9.99 when I ordered. I tested its functionality with a 12 V quarter horsepower motor and it handled the 10 amp startup draw with no problem and provided smooth speed changes with the dial. The design has easy wiring connectors with well labeled information for power supply and output connections. The included digital voltage display and reversible switch features are a big plus with this product. This product came with no instructions so basic DC knowledge would be needed. I can highly recommend!

This motor speed controller exceeded my expectations! The built-in voltage display is super handy for accurate adjustments, and the forward/reverse switches make setup a breeze. It handles a wide range of voltages without breaking a sweat, making the performance rock-solid. A must-have for smooth, precise motor control.

Heavy duty PWM controller, not flimsy at all and the case is nice and tough. I haven't run it anywhere near it's rated capacity but on a 4A draw I was able to control motor speed with no issues. I think the reverse polarity switch isn't very useful (at least to me) and the LED display with the voltage is a bit of an afterthought (for example would have been nice if the LED panel had mounting holes so you can cleanly mount it to the body of your application and make it look professional. Anyway the part that matters is the DC speed controller and it works exactly like I needed. I desoldered the LED panel because it's not really necessary for variable speed and also removed the reverse polarity switch. Great product otherwise.

I would like to preface this review with this statement; “I do not order items that I do not intend to use myself or install myself for someone else.” Having said that; I decided rather than do an “out of the box” type review I would put this item in to service for some time to really get a sense of what it was. This is what I found out; this is just one component of a roller project I built. As a role player in the overall machine it is holding up its end of the work in stellar fashion with both precision control and what appears to be some real reliability ahead. It is plug and play so that base is covered and speed adjustment is spot on.Love it, and I do recommend it.

At the time of this review, this brush dc controller lists at under $10 and includes a heavy duty forward/reverse switch.I found excellent voltage response with increasing/decreasing via the onboard single turn potentiometer while driving a small cooling fan via 12V battery.Highly satisfied with this unit, I don't think you can beat the value here. 5 stars across the board.

I paid around $10. That's hard to believe considering the build quality and craftsmanship. My intention is to use this in my classic car to set my radiator fan speed. I hooked it up to the 12V battery. The fan draws 15A+. No issue starting the fan from 0 RPM, up to Max. I haven't installed it permanently in the car but I don't doubt that it will be perfect for my purpose.

NOT ELECTRICAL SAFETY LISTED AND LABELED – NO WAY I AM I USING THIS IN MY HOME I am so disappointed receiving this dangerous NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller.– NOT Family Safe – NO electrical safety testing certification – I returned it Safety First - The most important thing is that this NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller IS NOT SAFE to use in your home. The NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller, itself, DOES NOT have an electrical safety certification label. - If this electrical product was safe and high quality, then certainly the manufacturer would have submitted this product to one of the independent electrical safety testing laboratories for electrical safety testing, certification, and labeling. I wonder why the manufacturer did not have this product safety tested. I am NOT going to use this product. You should not use this product. Why would you use it when you can buy proven safe electrical safety tested certified products from all over Amazon? - I am NOT going to use in this his dangerous NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller. I returned it. I often buy light fixtures, or electrical products, or Lithium Ion Batteries on Amazon where the website description does not bother to mention the electrical safety testing certification. I just assume that I will receive a product that is safe for my family. I am always surprised and dismayed when the light fixture, or electrical product, or Lithium Battery DOES NOT have an electrical safety test certification label. - For my moral values, to keep my family safe, to keep other families safe, for my liability insurance requirements, and to keep my home owner’s insurance valid, I only use or install ETL or UL or CSA, or TUV, or Triangle VDE, or Diamond VSE, or BACL electrical safety certified and labeled electrical products in my own home and in other people’s homes or businesses. These electrical safety certifications are provided by third party electrical product safety testing laboratories that are independent from the manufacturer. - The CE label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The CE label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the CE mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - The UKCA label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The UKCA label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the UKCA mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - The RoHS label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The RoHS label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer proclaiming adherence to factory manufacturing safety standards. A product labeled with the RoHS mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - The FCC label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The FCC label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer declaring that the product does not produce interference radio waves. The Circle PSE label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the Circle PSE mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - If you want your family to be safe and want your home owner’s insurance to remain valid you must only have electrical products that have independent laboratory electrical safety certifications showing that the product passed strict outside laboratory electrical safety testing. - I would not have purchased this NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller if I had known that it was NOT Safety Certified and Labeled. If a product has passed the strict electrical safety testing by these laboratories then it must show that safety certification label on the product itself. There is NO such electrical safety certification label anywhere on this NOT Safe PWM DC Motor Speed Controller. - Before installing an electrical device, the first thing an electrician does is to check for the electrical safety testing Laboratory Label Logo and Certification Listing number. - Ask your city’s electrical inspector if they will approve use of NON-safety certified and labeled electrical devices in your home. Then ask your professional licensed electrician if they will install UN-certified electrical devices. Then ask your home owner’s insurance agent if your home owner’s insurance will be valid if you install such NON-safety labeled electrical products. Of course, your home owner’s insurance agent will not inspect your home’s electric appliances until AFTER the fire, or electrocution, so that the insurance claim can be denied.
