using small depth, 1/32, 1/16, was able to work with ash wood, (very hard wood) no issues.

Had the original blades still in my planer when I discovered these. I didn't dare get me a nail or anything else because I figured the blades would be pricey.Just destroyed the first pair of these babies. Hit nails and everything in my path but flattened the subfloor in 1/10 the time of sanding for a couple dollars. Couldn't be happier.
