Please contact us if you have any trouble installing, some trimmers will need the arbor removed before installing this head. This is the same head as included with Ry obi part number AC053N1BFH. Ryobi trimmer works fine after replacing the original Trimmer Head. Plenty of extra parts I assume for other trimers. I am generally pretty handy with things mechanical and am sure I could do this easier if I did it often, but I don't. I found the installation pretty straight forward but, for me, a bit awkward. More on my skill than the part. Better price than Home Depot. I would definitely buy again and recommend to my neighbors.

Product fit well and work as described. Bought another model that said it would fit and compatible, but it was totally different design and thread pattern.Make sure to research item compatibility to ensure proper fit.

All bump release reels on all products that still use them fail. This one worked for a couple hours of use. Then fails to feed and is terrible to replace. If you bought a bump trimmer, just throw it away and buy one designed to auto-feed. You will get much more work done quicker and you'll be less frustrated. Steer away from any company that uses bump feed technology.

Product works and fits as advertised. It was a pain to remove the old head.. when i replaced this head i used an anti galling compound on the threads to aid in removal next time.
