These things look good. The latch mechanism doesn’t stay lined up properly. I had a different one, same design for years. This was supposed to replace it. My original also was stainless same design. It worked for years. Right up to the day it didn’t

These little clips work for alot of different solutions. I use them on my anchor line on my boat. Quick way to clip in and clip off a line, without worrying about any special knots. They are sturdy and stainless steel, so they get the job done.
