Corrosion Resistance
304 Stainless Steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance. Provides excellent protection against surface abrasion of wire ropes. Enable users to create a very neat and tight loop in coated or bare wire ropes and cable.
Unique Design
Designed to couple together two lengths of wire rope, or to form an eye or loop on wire rope, wire rope should be the same diameter as rope clip, consists of a U-shaped bolt, a forged saddle and two nuts, the two layers of wire rope are placed in the U-bolt and clamped into place for a tight connection.
Application

I ordered threes sets of these stainless steel wire clips and thimbles. Each set contained 20 wire clips and 20 thimbles in a plastic bag. The hardware is great and just what I wanted, but the shipping was extremely unsatisfactory.When I picked up the box on my front step it sounded like a rock tumbler. The three bags of hardware would fill up about one fifth of the volume of the box. There was no packing material in the box; only the hardware. Consequently, two bags broke open and 80 pieces of hardware were free floating in the box. Apparently, some pieces slipped out the gap in the bottom of the box and were missing.In the past I've been impressed with the packing of Amazon shipments. This shipment was a bust....literally. Good thing it was sturdy metal hardware instead of something fragile.
